The Google Pixel 7 Pro finally showed up at our doorstep this week. Our review is currently in the works, but we thought we’d give the people what they want – a quick unboxing and a detailed camera test with over 100 photos and videos.
Google didn’t give the Pixel 7 Pro any dramatic camera improvements this year. Still, they have changed things up a little with a new hybrid zoom system that fuses images from the primary camera and the 5x zoom camera to provide sharper images for digital zoom shots between 1x and 5x. The ultrawide camera is now a bit wider as well, finally giving us 0.5 magnification, there’s a new macro mode and the new 10.8MP selfies camera also has a slightly wider field of view.
