New Nokia-Branded Laptops are in the Works

0

We’ve heard of Nokia selling phones, smartphones, and even tablets, but one thing that might surprise people is the fact that the Finnish company also sells its own line of laptops. Recent information suggests that the next batch of Nokia-branded laptops – to be sold as part of the PureBook device series – might be unveiled soon.

More specifically, Nokia’s laptops are officially licensed to “Off Global,” a French start-up which oversees the manufacturing of the latter’s computers. The partnership was announced a while back, and there are already two Nokia-branded PureBook laptops scheduled for release in select regions. Available in 15 and 17-inch versions, the laptops feature entry-level specifications such as Intel Core i3 processors, 8GB of RAM, IPS displays, and such.

As for the upcoming laptops, it’s expected that the devices might be unveiled by Nokia and Off Global during IFA 2022, and will include the Nokia PureBook Lite 15, Nokia PureBook Lite 14, Nokia PureBook Fold 14, Nokia PureBook Pro 17 and Nokia PureBook Pro 15.

IFA 2022 is scheduled to take place in Berlin on September, and will be an in-person affair that will feature products from different categories like consumer electronics and smart devices, home appliances, fitness, telecommunications, and more. In addition to Nokia, several major brands are expected to show off new and upcoming tech at the event.
