Here’s Our First Look at the OnePlus TV 50 Y1S Pro

OnePlus has recently teased its new and upcoming OnePlus TV 50 Y1S Pro (quite a mouthful, we know) through its Indian website, and the smart TV will come with a set of impressive specs and features.

For starters, the TV will come with an edge-to-edge screen design consisting of a 50-inch display with 4K resolution, OnePlus’ “Gamma Engine” for ultra-clear content, built-in MEMC technology for smooth and enhanced motion in videos, and Dolby audio with high-definition sound.

The TV will likewise feature software compatibility with other OnePlus devices and accessories. For example, users will be able to control the TV with their OnePlus watch, which is a nicely-added convenience especially for those who have invested into OnePlus’ hardware and software ecosystem.

Additionally, it will also come with a “Smart Manager” software feature, which according to OnePlus will provide enhancements for “a smarter and longer-lasting TV.” Smart Manager will let you accelerate your system speed, and free up internal storage, to name a few. “Remote Diagnosis” will also let users troubleshoot the TV in case of operational problems.

While no formal launch date has been mentioned by the company, it’s believed that the TV might launch sometime this June.
