Aside from its popular smartphone business, Samsung also deals with manufacturing and marketing a wide variety of devices and accessories geared towards productivity purposes. As such, the company has recently announced the global launch of its newest ViewFinity S8 monitor, which the company describes as a “high resolution monitor specialized for creative professionals including content creators, graphic designers and more.”
Available in 32 and 27-inch models, the monitor packs some high-end hardware, including an IPS panel with a 3840 x 2160 pixel resolution with an anti-glare matte coating and support for up to one billion colors, 5ms response time, several ports which include an ethernet port, HDMI, USB-C, USB 3.0 hub, and a versatile design which can go on your desk or on a wall (click here for the full set of specs).
Hyesung Ha, Executive Vice President of Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics, says that the Viewfinity device range is “the summation of Samsung’s goal to deliver the most precise and functional monitors to businesses who require pinpoint accuracy and consistency throughout their work.” He added that Samsung is “proud to offer this monitor to designers, artists and professionals who will use our technology to create new ideas and experiences that realize their full potential.”
The monitor will be available around the end of June, although it will be released for different regions on varying dates.
