HiFuture FutureFit ZONE smartwatch: tracking your health on a budget

0

Smartwatches have become increasingly common these days, so it’s not surprising to see many people out there with the gadget strapped to their wrist. If you’ve yet to hop on board the smartwatch bandwagon and are wondering if it’s a worthwhile investment, how about checking out the HiFuture FutureFit ZONE smartwatch?

One of the main reasons for that is because it is a very affordable smartwatch at $70, and right now the company is actually offering a $38.50 discount if you use the HIFZONE coupon code upon check out. This means that you’ll end up paying less than half the original asking price, making it a very affordable way to get your hands on your first wearable.

Of course, price alone might not be a good enough reason, which is why we’ll be highlighting some of its features below that could help you make a decision.

Big beautiful display

The FutureFit Zone comes with a 1.69-inch TFT 240×240 display with a 60Hz refresh rate and 16-bit color production. It is a full touchscreen display, of course, and a wide color gamut of 99.5% Adobe RGB. The slightly curved edges also give the illusion that the display stretches all the way to the edge, so you should be able to see everything, like notifications and photos, pretty clearly.

Water-resistance

If you want to use your watch at the gym where you’ll get sweaty, then the FutureFit Zone is perfect. It features an IP68 rating which means that it is relatively water-resistant and dust-resistant, so you can use it at the gym and give it a quick rinse later to wash off any sweat on it.

It also means that if you want, you can take it swimming with you where unless you plan to go deep sea diving and stay underwater for extended periods of time, the IP68 rating should be more than capable of holding up in the swimming pool for your workouts.

Over 20 different sports modes

Speaking of workouts, given that we all do different activities to keep ourselves fit, the FutureFit Zone actually comes with 24 different sports modes. This means that you should be able to find a workout that the watch will be able to track, whether you’re out for a run/jog, a swim, on the treadmill, and so on.

Long-lasting battery

More often than not we see smartwatches in this day and age where battery life is less than ideal, with some lasting just a little over a day. This can be annoying if you hate the idea of having to constantly charge your watch on a daily basis. With the FutureFit Zone, HiFuture has equipped it with a battery that they claim has a standby time of 14 days.

This means that depending on how you use your watch, you will be able to go for about two weeks before it needs to charge again. This is perfect if you’re traveling overseas or camping and don’t have access to a power outlet to charge your smartwatch with. Of course, your mileage may vary if you use the watch frequently, but overall it’s pretty good.

The watch will also come with the company’s Newgen Charging, which is a charging cradle of sorts to help recharge your watch when it’s low on battery.

Multiple health sensors

These days, a smartwatch not coming with a heart rate sensor is almost unheard of, so it’s not surprising that the FutureFit Zone comes with one as well. But it does more than just track your heart rate. The company has equipped with a blood oxygen sensor so you can see your oxygen levels after exercising.

The heart rate and blood pressure monitoring is with agreen light sensor while the blood oxygen monitoring is with a red light sensor.
The user’s physical activity data can be monitored in real-time 24 hours a day. The data is also synchronized to the APP to share health data with family and friends.

HiFuture even claims that the FutureFit Zone is capable of measuring your blood pressure. We haven’t tried it for ourselves so we can’t speak to its accuracy, but the company does note that it’s not meant for medical use, meaning that it’s probably good enough for you to get a rough idea, but if it shows anything abnormal, you should still get it checked out by a health professional.

The watch also links up with the FitCloudPro app so you can use it to view your workout data and other vitals. It can also be used by women to track their menstrual cycles. There is also a built-in pedometer that can help you count your steps to keep track of how much you’ve walked on any given day.

For those who also want to track their sleep, the FutureFit Zone comes with a built-in sleep tracker that will be able to provide you with a detailed sleep report when you wake up.

Pricing and availability

If you’re keen on the FutureFit Zone smartwatch, it is available via HiFuture’s website. Like we mentioned earlier, the watch usually retails for $70, but right now if you were to use the HIFZONE coupon code upon check out, you’ll be able to save yourself $38.50, making this smartwatch great value for money.
