Pokémon GO Gears Up for Global Event

Pokémon GO fanatics are in for a treat this year. Tickets for the game’s biggest event – Pokémon GO Fest 2022 – are now available for purchase. The event will take place starting June 4-5, 2022, with additional dates on July 22-24 (Seattle), July 1-3 (Berlin), and August 5-7 (Sapporo).

According to an official statement from the developer team, the event will allow trainers to unlock rewards and get in-game bonuses, as well as experience event-exclusive gameplay. Meanwhile, players who purchased tickets can take part in Special Research quests to learn more about the mythical Pokémon Shaymin.

Special avatar items can also be bought from the in-game shop during the event, which will include a Pokémon GO Fest 2022 Tee, an official Shaymin Hat, and a Gracidea Face Sticker. A special Gracidea Pikachu will also be present during the event, although players will have to be on the lookout for it.

Additionally, different Pokémon species will appear in rotating hourly habitats. Players can take part in Collection Challenges during each habitat hour to contribute to their Elite Collector medal. There are also several species to look out for, which include Shiny Shroomish, Shiny Numel, Shiny Karrablast, Shiny Axew, and Shiny Shelmet.
