When we think of high-end smartphones that are powerful and come with a ton of features, more often than not they are also pretty expensive. If you’re looking for a new smartphone that looks good and has the performance to handle games thrown at it, then you might be interested in checking out Infinix’s Note 12 VIP smartphone.
Starting with the design of the phone, it features flat edges all around the sides. This is versus the more curved edges we see in Android handsets in the past few years, but what’s interesting is that according to Infinix, they have opted to use an aerospace-grade ultra-thin glass fiber material.
This gives the phone the texture of glass but with the strength of carbon fiber, while also keeping it light at only 199 grams. The phone will come with a massive 6.7-inch FHD+ Super Light AMOLED display with a buttery smooth 120Hz refresh rate and a 360Hz touch sampling rate, and under the hood, MediaTek’s Helio G96 Ultra Gaming Processor can be found.
The phone also comes with 8GB of RAM for its base, but it can borrow an extra 5GB of RAM from the ROM, bringing it up to a total of 13GB when needed. The Note 12 VIP also comes with dual DTS speakers, a graphene cooling system, and also linear motor tactile systems that helps provide a unique experience when playing games.
The cameras on the phone are no slouch either, where it sports a 108MP camera, a 13MP ultra-wide lens, and a depth sensor with laser detection autofocus. Infinix has also packed a 4,500mAh battery with 120W Hyper Charge charging.
If you’re worried about pricing, Infinix says that its new Note 12 VIP will cost around $299 which is actually a steal. There is no word on availability yet as it will differ from region to region.
