UScellular promises not to raise its prices through 2023

What we’ve seen over the years is that carriers like to raise their prices every now and then. It’s normal and it’s something many of us have come to accept. But if you’re looking for a carrier that won’t be raising its prices anytime soon, perhaps UScellular could be it.

This is because the company has interestingly announced a commitment in which they are promising customers to maintain their prices through 2023 at the very least. This means that if you sign up now or if you’re already a customer, you can expect the carrier to maintain their prices for at least 1.5 years.

According to Laurent “LT” Therivel, President and CEO of UScellular:

“Our customers have enough on their minds, and they shouldn’t need to worry about their wireless rates going up. Whether they’re a brand-new customer or have been one for years, their rate plan will not increase. We are committed to being transparent with our customers, and we want them to have peace of mind knowing that if they don’t want to make a change, we won’t change a thing.”

This is expected to be maintained at least until the 31st of December, 2023. This doesn’t necessarily mean that on the 1st of January, 2024 we will see a price hike, but it’s something that customers should note anyway. This announcement will not require any action
