Poco has made a name for themselves by creating phones that have incredible hardware but are priced very reasonably. It seems that this is a trend that the company is continuing as they have announced the POCO F4 GT, a gaming smartphone that comes with all the latest hardware but is priced decently.
Getting the hardware out of the way, the POCO F4 GT comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. This is the same chipset powering pretty much the majority of all flagship phones launched in 2022. It also comes with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, making it incredibly fast at reading and writing data.
The phone will also feature the use of a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio, a 2400×1080 FHD+ resolution with a refresh rate of 120Hz and support for HDR10+, along with a 480Hz touch sampling rate. It also uses Corning’s Gorilla Glass Victus as its glass of choice, and it will also feature LiquidCool Technology 3.0 for thermals, a set of quad speakers with Dolby Atmos, and magnetic popup triggers on the side.
As for the camera, Poco has equipped the phone with a 64MP Sony IMX686 main camera, an 8MP ultrawide, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 20MP Sony IMX596 shooter on the front. The phone also comes with a 4,700mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging that according to Poco, can be fully recharged in just 17 minutes, which is pretty nuts.
As for pricing, the POCO F4 GT will be priced starting at €599 for the 8GB + 128GB model, or €699 for the 12GB + 256GB model, and is expected to be available for purchase on the 28th of April.
