When it comes to affordable smartphones, it’s hard to beat the value proposition that BLU brings to the table. In fact, if you’re looking for a new 5G smartphone that’s affordable, then you might be interested and happy to hear that BLU has launched its latest handset, the BLU F91 5G.

What’s interesting is that this is actually the company’s first 5G smartphone. While 5G has been available for the past few years, BLU has actually been a bit slow to bring 5G to its devices, but you know what, better late than never.

The BLU F91 5G continues the company’s tradition of offering affordable handsets with decent specs. The phone is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 810 chipset and will come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card.

The phone also features the use of a 6.8-inch LCD 2460×1080 display with a 16MP front-facing camera. On the back, the company has equipped it with a quad camera setup that includes a 48MP main camera, a 5MP wide-angle camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor.

A 5,000mAh battery will also be included along with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Unfortunately, the phone only comes with Android 11 preinstalled which is a bit of a let down given that Android 12 is already available, but hopefully BLU will push out an update soon.

If the BLU F91 5G sounds like a phone you might be interested in, it’s available on Amazon where it’s being discounted by $100, bringing its price down to $200 from the RRP of $300.
