Google Stadia’s streaming service is more like iTunes back in the day, where you can stream the games you want to play, but you need to buy it first. This is versus Netflix where you pay a fixed monthly subscription and you get to watch everything in the library. For that, you would need the Stadia Pro subscription.
At the start of Stadia’s life, some of you might have felt that maybe it wasn’t so worth it, but it might be time to reevaluate that. This is because according to XDA Developers, next month Stadia Pro will be home to 50 games, which is actually a pretty decent selection to choose from.
For those unfamiliar, Stadia is offered in two tiers – the basic free tier where you can access the service and buy your games, or the Pro tier where you still have to buy your games, but you can stream in 4K and have access to a small library of games for no additional cost to your subscription.
Of course, Stadia Pro’s library was a bit small at launch which is to be expected, but the service has come quite a long way since, so if you were holding off before due to the small library of games, 50 is actually pretty respectable where you can also stream games at 4K for just $9.99 a month.
