UGREENs HiTune X6 are noise-cancelling, true wireless earbuds that won’t break the bank

0

These days, the market is being flooded with all manner of true wireless earbuds. This is because many are quickly discovering how convenient these types of earphones are. Not only are they small, but they’re completely wireless meaning that there are no cables connecting them, plus they come with their own charging case.

This solves a lot of issues with wireless earphones and headphones right out of the gate. That being said, with so many options to choose from, how do you know which to choose? If you’re looking for a little help, then perhaps UGREEN could have something for you in the form of the UGREEN HiTune X6 earbuds, which at an asking price of $80 could be great value for money.

Design

When you look at the HiTune X6 earbuds, they are pretty sleekly designed. The charging case itself features a nice dark grey finish while the earbuds themselves are oval shaped on the outside with a black interior, and there is a reason for its somewhat unique design.

This is because, on the outer part of the earbuds, that’s where UGREEN has placed a feedforward microphone that is being used to pick up on environmental noise to help filter out sounds.

On the bottom part of the earbuds, there is another microphone that is aimed towards the user’s mouth so that it can pick up voices easily so that your voice comes across clearer while you are on a call.

UGREEN has also bundled together three pairs of silicone ear tips so that you’ll be able to find the fit that suits you the best without it being too loose or too tight where it becomes uncomfortable.

The earbuds have also been rated as IPX5, which means that using it at the gym and getting a bit of sweat and water on it won’t be a problem.

Active noise cancellation

Usually, when we think about noise-canceling earbuds, they tend to be reserved for higher-end devices, but UGREEN has opted to include it as a feature for the HiTune X6. According to the company, the HiTune X6 will use a hybrid noise cancellation system that is capable of cutting out 35dB of noise.

Combine that with the earbuds that help keep a tight seal in your ears, you will be able to tune out your environment’s sounds, whether you’re at work, school, or at a cafe and need to focus on your work.

Sound quality

While features like noise cancellation are great, what good is a pair of earphones if they don’t sound good, right? According to UGREEN, the HiTune X6 will feature a 10mm diamond-like carbon speaker unit. The company says that this speaker unit will allow the earbuds to deliver richer retail, minimize distortion, and ensure more natural, deeper-sounding audio and punchy bass.

The earbuds themselves also feature support for codecs such as SBC and AAC, so you’ll be able to enjoy your music at higher quality levels. The earbuds also boast a 50ms latency, which means that when you pair it with your phone, laptop, or tablet, it will sync up with your videos or games without any perceivable lag, something that some Bluetooth devices can struggle with due to the wireless connection.

Battery life

As for battery life, the HiTune X6 will last you 6 hours of playtime on a single charge, 5.5 hours with noise cancellation enabled, and 26 hours of total use when charged with the carrying case. It also supports fast charging where 10 minutes will give you an hour of playback. Use code 20UGREENX6 and get the UGREEN HiTune X6 earbuds for $45.99
