The rumor mill has already been picking up steam when it comes to the Galaxy S22, but we still don’t exactly know when Samsung’s 2022 flagship lineup will be announced. Thanks to the team over at Android Police, you don’t have to wait to get a feel for what’s to come, as the wallpapers for the upcoming devices have been shared.
There are a total of four wallpapers to choose from, all of which come in a 2340 x 2340 resolution, meaning that they should fit perfectly on whatever device it is that you are currently using. The wallpapers themselves obviously don’t reveal any information about the Galaxy S22 lineup, except for the fact that we might have a couple of different color options to choose from. But really, that’s just grasping for straws.
When it comes to the Galaxy S22 and S22 Plus, we aren’t expecting any drastic changes to the design or feature-set. However, based on leaked renders of the Galaxy S22 Ultra, big changes are in store. The Galaxy Note line could very well be at the end of the road, as rumors and leaks suggest that Samsung will be beefing up the size of the S22 Ultra to include housing for an S Pen. This wouldn’t come as too much of a surprise given the success of Samsung’s foldable phones, but it would still be rather odd to move forward without a true “Galaxy Note” any longer.
Three out of the four wallpapers offer different colors, while the fourth wallpaper is clearly designed to help with battery life as it features an all-black background with some splashes in the foreground. Nevertheless, if you want to get your hands on these wallpapers now, instead of waiting until next year, just hit the link down below to check out the gallery and download the images in their full resolution.
