Samsung’s affordable Galaxy A12 is now available from AT&T

Samsung makes a ton of phones, some of them expensive like the Galaxy S-series and the Galaxy Z Fold series, but some of them are cheap and value for money. If the latter is something you’re interested in, then you’ll be pleased to learn that Samsung has brought its affordable Galaxy A12 stateside through AT&T.

For those who are unfamiliar with the Galaxy A12, it was actually launched back in 2020 where it was initially only made available in a handful of countries, but now if you are shopping for a phone on a budget, you’ll be able to get it stateside. It is priced at $179.99 for the unlocked model which is mighty affordable, or you can get it at $1 a month if you’re willing to commit to AT&T’s plans.

As a quick recap of the phone for those who might have missed the announcement last year, the Galaxy A12 will come with a 6.5-inch HD+ TFT Infinity-V display. Under the hood, we’re looking at the use of an octa-core chipset with four cores clocked at 1.8GHz and another four clocked at 2.3GHz.

The phone will pack 4GB of RAM, come in 64GB or 128GB storage options, a microSD card slot for memory expansion, and also a 5,000mAh battery with support for 15W charging. The Galaxy A12 also features a 16MP rear-facing camera combo with a 5MP ultra-wide camera and 2MP macro and depth sensors.
