Master & Dynamic’s MW08 is here to take on the AirPods Pro

Master & Dynamic is no stranger to the headphone market, as the company has quite the standing in the over-ear headphone market. A few years back, M&D stretched its wings using its prowess into the in-ear headphone game.

Today, Master & Dynamic has announced the all-new MW08 true wireless earphones, with plenty of features to take on the AirPods Pro. These headphones are the first from M&D to sport 11mm drivers, along with hybrid active noise cancellation.

The unique shape of the earbuds has been upgraded from previous models to improve comfort and lighten the load a bit. Under the hood, there’s Bluetooth 5.2 onboard, which helps to prevent any potential connectivity problems. There’s even an improved 6-microphone system to help with the new noise cancellation system along with better call quality.

Battery life is another potential sore spot with headphones, but the MW08’s should impress. These earbuds are rated for up to 10 hours of audio playback on a single charge, along with an additional 30 hours of charge with the included case. That makes for 40 hours of total battery life before needing to recharge the case.

In addition to providing another fantastic option in the truly-wireless earbud market, Master & Dynamic is releasing its first accompanying app. The new M&D Connect app makes it easier than ever to customize the EQ levels along with downloading future firmware updates for these earbuds.

Price and Availability

Master & Dynamic will be releasing the MW08 Earphones starting on March 30th, and are priced at $299. This falls in line with previous iterations of the MW Earphone lineup, but this could be one of the biggest upgrades since the original release.

The MW08 Earphones come in four different color options, that include the following:

• Brown Ceramic / Stainless Steel
• Blue Ceramic / Graphic Grey Stainless Steel
