The Android smartwatch is dominated by the likes of Samsung and Fitbit for their ease of use and integration with devices (at least in Samsung’s case). But Mobvoi’s TicWatch has been making a play in the market to try and become another one of the mainstay options in a market flooded by largely “meh” options.
For a limited time, Mobvoi is running a promotion on two of the best traditional smartwatches that you can find. First, the TicWatch C2 Plus was announced in June of last year, sporting a minimal upgrade over the standard TicWatch C2. The Plus variant brings the Snapdragon 2100 processor, along with a 1.3-inch round display and 1GB of RAM compared to the 512MB found in the C2.
You’ll also find many of the sensors you would expect to see and use in a smartwatch, including NFC, GPS, a heart rate monitor, and a gyroscope. There’s also a 400mAh battery that will last at least a day and a half. Plus, the IP68 rating makes the C2+ a worthy contender for being your next fitness tracker in addition to its smartwatch capabilities.
The other smartwatch that is currently on sale is the ultra-popular TicWatch Pro 3. This is currently the only smartwatch running Wear OS while being powered by the latest Snapdragon Wear 4100 processor. Other specs of the TicWatch Pro 3 include a 1.4-inch AMOLED display with both a standard screen and Mobvoi’s unique and super-useful “essential” LCD display. This shows just minimal amounts of information along with the time in an effort to get that long-lasting battery. Specs for the Pro 3 read similarly to the C2+ with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of onboard storage, all of the sensors you could want, along with IP68 water and dust resistance.
Now for the deal.
Starting today, you can get the TicWatch C2+ for just $167.99, which is a 20% discount off the retail price of $209.99. You’ll also get an additional watch band with your purchase, so you can mix and match, or swap the bands out entirely. As for the TicWatch Pro 3, Mobvoi is offering a 15% discount, bringing the price to $254.99, down from its retail price of $299.
