Ubisoft+ game subscription service is available on Stadia for free

0

Two months after announcing that Ubisoft+ would be coming to Stadia, the subscription game service from Ubisoft is now available! Stadia users in the US will get access to Ubisoft+ Beta between December 14-16. While it was previously stated that a Stadia Pro subscription would be needed to get access to Ubisoft+, a Stadia Pro subscription is not needed to access Ubisoft+ through Stadia.

Formerly known as Uplay+, the rebranded Ubisoft+ game subscription service costs $14.95/month, giving subscribers access to 100+ Ubisoft games from over the years, allowing subscribers to play the games on PC and streaming game service like Stadia and Luna. Game progress with Ubisoft+ is saved in the cloud, allowing gamers to pick up exactly where they left off, no matter what platform they play on.

It’s not yet clear if all Ubisoft+ games will be available to Stadia. As of right now, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Immortals Fenyx Rising and Watch Dogs: Legion are the only games mentioned by Ubisoft, even though the developer has a handful of other titles currently available on Stadia.
