Google just made it easier to obtain the Pixel 4a

0

The Google Pixel 4a is Google’s attempt and continuation of their efforts at making affordable phones. While it is relatively affordable, it will still cost you a few hundred bucks. If you can’t afford to pay that or don’t want to pay that much upfront, you might want to consider Google Fi’s new subscription program.

Google has announced that through its new Google Fi subscription program, customers who wish to own the Pixel 4a can subscribe and pay $15 a month over the next two years. This will include device protection and also the ability to upgrade to the next handset after two years, which Google claims could save customers as much as $133 over the course of two years.

Do note that this is a subscription program just for the phone. Granted it’s under Google Fi, but this subscription does not come with a plan, which means that you’ll need to pair it with a Google Fi plan if you don’t have one already.

At the moment, this subscription plan is only available for the Pixel 4a, but we wouldn’t be surprised if Google were to eventually extend this to its newer phones like the Pixel 4a 5G and the Pixel 5, but we’ll have to wait and see when that happens. You can find out more information or apply to subscribe via the Google Fi website.
