Mobile banking is a great way to stay up to date on your finances while on the go. These apps let you check balances, make deposits, transfer money, and in some cases reload prepaid cards. Here are some great apps we found to help you manage your accounts.
Ally Mobile combines your every day and investment accounts into a slick user interface to quickly see your balances. You can use the built-in Card Control application to manage notifications and set spending limits for your Debit card. Additionally, Ally Mobile provides you free access to Zelle® to send money to anyone with a U.S. bank account. Once logged in, let the app store your password and authenticate using your fingerprint.
Bank of America Mobile Banking
BofA account holders can use the Bank of America Mobile app to track their finances while on the go. You can seamlessly transfer money between accounts and using Zelle®, send or receive money from friends and family. Security is key and the app lets you set up your fingerprint for authentication. Additionally, should you lose your card, you can order a replacement and activate the new card all from the app. If you are traveling, us the app to set up travel notices so the money is available anywhere you travel.
Capital One Mobile
The Capital One Mobile app lets you see all your accounts including mortgage and loans all in one place. Use Zelle℠ to send money to friends and family. Other features offered include fingerprint authentication, customizable profile picture, and the ability to view your credit score within the app. The Capital One Mobile app recently received an award for “Highest in Customer Satisfaction Among Mobile Banking Apps.”
Schwab Mobile brings Schwab members various accounts under one easy to use app. Securely log in to the app using your fingerprint and manage all your investments. Trade, edit, and cancel stock, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), and mutual fund orders all within the app. In addition to managing your investments, you will find Schwab podcasts and videos in the Media Center.
The Chase Mobile app is chock full of features for its members. Along with viewing account balances, you can send money to family and friends via Zelle℠, check your TransUnion credit score, and those with a Chase rewards card can view their Ultimate Rewards. Chase Mobile is unique in that it lets you reload your Chase Liquid card directly from the app.
Chime – Mobile Banking
Chime is a relatively new online bank that brings with it a gorgeous looking app. Setting up an account only takes a couple of minutes but the benefits are great. Once you receive your VISA® Debit Card, you have access to over 38,000 ATMs with Moneypass. Use the app to make mobile check deposits into your account. Sign up for a direct deposit and receive your paycheck up to two days early.
Wells Fargo Mobile
Wells Fargo has had their ups and downs over the past several years but things are going well now. The Wells Fargo Mobile app has many of the same features as others listed in this article including managing your accounts, sending money to friends, and family via Zelle® and access to your credit score. Additionally, Wells Fargo Mobile lets you monitor balances, holdings, account activity, and open orders for your Wells Fargo Advisors and WellsTrade® accounts.
