Samsung confirms new Galaxy Unpacked event for August

0

Are you looking forward to Samsung’s next flagship smartphone, the Galaxy Note 20? If you are, then you might be interested to learn that Samsung has confirmed that they will be hosting an event on the 5th of August, 2020 at 10AM ET. The company does not mention what will be announced at the Galaxy Unpacked event, but it isn’t that hard to guess.

Samsung typically launches two flagship phones a year, with the Galaxy S-series at the start of the year, and the Note series in the second half of the year. With the Galaxy S20 out of the way, it leaves the Note 20. But we imagine that this event could be more than just about the Note 20.

We have been hearing rumors that Samsung could also be working on a new wearable in the form of the Galaxy Watch 3, and that the company could also be planning on a 5G version of the Galaxy Z Flip. The latter was recently spotted at a certification agency in China hinting that it is close to launch, so we wouldn’t be surprised if the handset were to be revealed at the Galaxy Unpacked event.

This is also not the first time we’re hearing about the Note 20’s launch taking place in August, but now it looks like it might have been confirmed. Either way, check back with us next month for all the official details.
