Stadia brings millions of Android phones into the fold

0

The list of supported devices for Google’s Stadia will increase dramatically on February 20th. Stadia has announced that nearly two dozen phones from Samsung, ASUS, and Razer will be added to the Stadia compatibility list, giving tens of millions of smartphone owners across the globe the ability to play the Stadia game streaming service on their mobile devices.

Since launch, Stadia’s list of compatible mobile devices has only included Google’s Pixel lineup. By adding 19 new smartphones to the list (including Samsung’s 2020 Galaxy S lineup), Stadia will be a lot more appealing than it has been in the past.

Google’s game streaming service is still quite limited by its game selection and Full HD support through computer browsers, but Stadia has promised to deliver over 100 ew games in 2020.

Now that more Android devices are compatible with Stadia, do you plan to give the streaming service a try?
