In less than a week’s time, OnePlus is expected to officially announce their new OnePlus 7 smartphones. We know that there will at least two variants announced – the OnePlus 7 and the OnePlus 7 Pro, and it seems that the latter handset will be exclusive to T-Mobile if you were hoping to buy it from a carrier.
According to T-Mobile CEO John Legere:
“OnePlus fans showed up in droves to our Times Square launch event last year. It’s clear our savvy customers love this brand, so of course we did what we always do – listen to them! We went ‘full magenta’ this year. Now, customers all across the country can get in on the action at all six T-Mobile Signature Stores!”
There is no mention of pricing just yet but given previous OnePlus prices, we expect that the OnePlus 7 Pro probably won’t break the bank. We had heard that the OnePlus 7 could cost around $550 or so, which means that the Pro model will probably be around the $600-$700 range, which makes it still somewhat affordable.
There are plenty of reasons to be excited for the handset, one of which is its camera where for the first time ever, OnePlus will be introducing a triple camera setup. Early samples have proven to be pretty decent and we can’t wait to test them out properly. The display is also something to look forward to, where OnePlus has hinted that the handset will be rocking a 90Hz refresh rate.
In any case, more details are expected to follow on the 14th of May, so remember to check back with us then.
