We might get the LG G7 in May

LG’s been something of a rebel lately, opting to forego flashy Mobile World Congress press conferences and being fashionably late to the annual Spring flagship party. And then they told the world they don’t care if the Galaxy S9 is coming out, they won’t show the G7 until they good and damned ready!

(Of course, the fact that they can’t seem to beat Samsung no matter what their strategy is probably also had something to do with that.)

Anywho, the LG G7 is still a secret in official capacity, but new rumors suggest the company will finally bring us their 2018 darling this May, alongside a supposed LG G7 Plus, too. We don’t know if those names will stick, by the way, so just know that we’re still calling it the LG G7 for reference only.

The report goes on to mention that LG’s as close as a week away from introducing the initial specifications to mobile operators, which sounds like they could be close to a final product by now.

As for what we’re expecting, rumors are pointing to a device with a notch display not unlike the one we saw in an earlier leak of one of LG’s potential prototypes. Here’s how it could look:
