Android Oreo comes to Honor 7X owners in the US

The Honor 7X has been available on the market since October of last year, but surprisingly shipped with Android Nougat. The company has been working on a beta version of Oreo, and is now ready to share it with owners of the device in the US.

If you want to join the EMUI 8.0 beta program, you can hit the link here. From there you will be taken to a Google Forms page, which will require to fill out various pieces of information regarding yourself, and the device. Then, you will receive an email if you are selected, notifying you of steps needed to take in order to receive the beta software.

This move comes after Honor confirmed that the software would be rolling out to device owners in Q2 2018. Huawei and Honor have stayed quiet about a possible update for the Honor 8, only stating that EMUI is still in development for the 2016 device.
