This smartwatch looks like the Apple Watch but has a 45-day battery for just $99

When you think about smartwatches, Amazfit is likely a company that you haven’t heard of other than our Amazfit Pace review which published early last year. However, the company has released a new smartwatch called the Amazfit Bip, and this one looks to become a replacement for the Pebble fans out there.

The highlighting feature of the Amazfit Bip is its advertised 45 days of battery life, which is just absurd in today’s day and age. This is possible thanks to the 1.28-inch color touchscreen display, which has more of a look and feel to e-ink versus to a standard smartwatch display.

However, if you were worried about the Bip being an underwhelming and stripped down smartwatch, you would be incorrect. The Bip features a 3-axis accelerometer, heart rate monitor, and GSP/GLONASS sensors which will make life easier for you to keep track of your different workouts.

Other features of the Bip include an IP68 water resistant rating which is great if you are worried about your smartwatch not holding up against sweat. Unfortunately, this water rating means that you won’t be able to take the smartwatch for a swim, and you’ll have to leave it in your locker.

Starting today, the Amazfit Bip is available in Black for just $99, although there are three more colors coming on March 30th. These include “Cinnabar Red”, “White Cloud”, and “Kokoda Green”. If you want to check out the Bip for yourself, hit the button below and let us know whether you’ll be giving this smartwatch a spin.
