One of the best features of Google Assistant is “voice match.” It allows different people to use their own services with Assistant. So when you ask about your day it knows to look up your calendar, but when your wife asks it will use her calendar. Not all services support this feature, but a major app has just adopted it.
Netflix now supports voice match for multiple profiles. When you ask Google to play something from Netflix is will know to use your Netflix profile. It won’t muck up the recommendations for other people in your household. You can also ask Google to resume playing Netflix and it will know what you were watching last. All you have to do to set it up is link your profile in the Google Home video settings.
