Mobile World Congress 2018 is just a few weeks away, and we are expecting big things from the conference this year. We are expecting to see huge announcements from the likes of Samsung and possibly LG, however, Sony will also have a big presence at the event.

Sony has confirmed that it will be holding its conference at MWC 2018 on February 26th, where the company is expected to unveil its first bezel-less device with the Sony Xperia XZ Pro. The XZ Pro is likely to offer a few firsts for the company, as it could also feature a dual-rear camera setup, to go along with a new OLED display.

After Sony started sending out press invitations for its event, the Xperia XZ Pro was leaked, sharing off some of the key specs of the device. The XZ Pro will reportedly feature a 5.7-inch 4K OLED display, while being powered by the Snapdragon 845 chipset, 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of base storage.

As for those rear cameras, we are likely to see a primary 18MP sensor along with a 12MP secondary sensor. On the front, the Xperia XZ Pro will be equipped with a 13MP selfie camera.

Other specs for the device include IP68 water and dust resistance, along with a serviceable 3,420mAh battery. It’s also expected for Sony to include Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box, leaving out any concern for software updates for consumers.

While Sony already has a huge following of users, the Xperia XZ Pro could finally be the device that brings even more folks on board. This is especially true considering the fact that Sony has kept the same design language for its devices for far too long.

Let us know what you think about these leaks and if you’re interested in seeing what the final version of the Sony Xperia XZ Pro looks like.
