The unlocked HTC 10’s Android Oreo update has been pulled

0

Late last week, the unlocked HTC 10 started receiving the Android Oreo update. The update came with very little fanfare and was a nice surprise for HTC 10 owners. However, it seems there were some issues with the update. HTC has pulled the update and removed the update page.

The update was previously available OTA and to download, but it doesn’t seem like anyone actually got the OTA update. The only users who were able to successfully install the update were people who flashed the firmware manually. Those people have been reporting battery issues and other problems.

HTC hasn’t addressed the situation yet, but it certainly looks like the update was sent out prematurely. Hopefully, they can fix it up and get the new update out soon.
