The latest Samsung Galaxy S8 Oreo beta update could be the last

0

The Android Oreo beta program for the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus is set to end on January 15th. This has been a great program for enthusiasts to get a taste of the latest Oreo updates. There have been several updates with this program, but it’s looking like the update rolling out right now will be the last.

The latest build is software version ZRA5. It’s currently rolling out in India, but should be hitting other markets soon. The update includes the usual array of bug fixes, security patches, and minor improvements. With the 15th quickly approaching, this is likely the last beta update we’ll see. The official Oreo update should start rolling out a week or two after the beta program ends if the Samsung Galaxy S7 is any indication.

Getting the Galaxy S8 on Oreo will be a big bump for the Android Distribution numbers that came out earlier this week. The Oreo rollout has been very slow across the board. Have you been using the Oreo beta on your Galaxy S8? How has it been?
