The Xiaomi Mi A1 was the company’s first Android One device. It launched a few months ago and Xiaomi promised it would be updated to Android Oreo before the end of 2017. Well, they just barely got in under the deadline. It started rolling out two days ago, but some people might not have it yet.
The update includes a bunch of the Oreo features you’ve heard about. Some of the features you can expect include the new swipe-up gesture for opening the app drawer, a newly designed settings menu, background limits, system-wide autofill, smart text selection, Picture-in-Picture, notification dots, adaptive icons, new emoji, and instant apps. The update also enables quick charging.
