Android 8.0 Oreo is rolling out today for the Asus ZenFone 4

0

As the year comes to a close, Asus is updating the ZenFone 4 to Android Oreo before the calendar switches to 2018. This news comes from the official ZenTalk forum. The update is version number 15.0405.1711.76 and it’s rolling out now over the air.

Some of the features you can expect include the new swipe-up gesture for opening the app drawer, a newly designed settings menu, background limits, system-wide autofill, smart text selection, Picture-in-Picture, notification dots, adaptive icons, new emoji, and instant apps. Basically, the standard Oreo stuff.

The ZenFone 4 was released only a couple of months ago, so it’s nice seeing this update. Check the Settings to see if you have it.
