Samsung rolls out Android 8.0 beta 5 to the Galaxy S8 and S8+

0

As we inch ever closer to a final Android 8.0 Oreo build for the Galaxy S8 and S8+, Samsung continues to refine the beta version with a stream of steady updates. A new version of the Oreo beta — software version ZQLE — is the fifth such update since Samsung launched their beta program back in November.

Like the fourth beta that arrived a few weeks ago, the 613MB update merely addresses a laundry list of bug fixes and as such, isn’t all too exciting. It’s already hit India (as the “2nd beta”) and other markets, so be on the lookout if you’re currently enrolled in the beta. To check for the update yourself, simply open the Settings app > Software update > Download updates manually.
