Over the course of the last year or so, Amazon has been working hard to improve the experience of those who are subscribed to Amazon Prime Video. The company released its application onto the Play Store back in August, and now are expanding even further.
Starting today, Android TV owners can now install the official Prime Video application and watch their favorite Amazon content. This comes just a few days after Amazon (finally) released the Prime Video application for Apple TV owners, a move that was announced back in the Summer.
Not everything is roses and daisies though, as it seems that this version of the application is not yet compatible with all Android TV devices. This is likely due to something on Amazon’s side that needs to be addressed, such as flipping the compatibility switch on or something similar.
Nonetheless, if you want to attempt to download the Amazon Prime Video app for your Android TV of choice, hit the button below. Let us know whether you have success doing so, or if you will have to wait until the bugs are fixed before watching your favorite Prime content.
