Remember Pokemon GO? The game launched nearly a year ago with a ton of fanfare. There was no way it could maintain that excitement, but a lot of people still play the game. Niantic has been pushing out steady updates to keep the game fresh. The latest update is a pretty big one.
Starting this week, 50 new Pokemon from the Hoenn region (Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire) will appear in the game. Some of the names include Treecko, Torchic, and Mudkip. More will be added in the following weeks. The map is also getting a big update. You’ll now see weather conditions displayed on the map screen. If it’s raining in real life it will be raining in the game. The conditions include sunny, rainy, snowy, foggy, partly cloudy, and windy.
If you haven’t gone on a Pokemon hunt in a while, now might be a good time to get back into it. How many of you still play the game?
