NVIDIA is recalling faulty European wall chargers from the SHIELD

0

It’s not quite as exciting as the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 situation, but NVIDIA has a recall on their hands. Some European AC wall adapters are being recalled for risk of electrical shock. The recall has been outlined on NVIDIA’s official website.

The faulty adapters shipped with the SHIELD TV, SHIELD tablets, and SHIELD World Charger Kits in Europe between July 2014 and May 2017. That’s a pretty big window, but there is a way that you can see if yours is one of the affected. Markings on the adapter will help you identify.

The good news is NVIDIA will replace any adapter that was bought with those products during the time period. All you have to do is visit the recall page and follow the directions.
