HMD Global has been pretty successful with its series of Nokia phones it revealed at MWC 2017, but we’re still waiting to see the flagship offering from Nokia. Rumors earlier in the year suggested the phone could be called the Nokia 9, but as we march closer to the all important holiday season, rumors suggest the Nokia 8 will be the flagship device.
We already know it’s likely to feature dual cameras with Carl Zeiss optics and will run close to stock Android. Previous Nokia hardware showed up on Geekbench with the moniker “Uknown Heart”, which suggests that this latest benchmark for a device running Android 8.0 is likely a Nokia phone.
Nokia is slated to reveal the Nokia 8 on August 16th, which will put the phone shipping sometime in late August to September. It’ll be going up against the likes of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and the LG V30, which means stiff competition.

- 5.3-inch 1440 display
- Snapdragon 835 processor
