Verizon’s Wear24 Android Wear 2.0 smartwatch is now available

0

Back when Google officially launched Android Wear 2.0, LG and Verizon debuted new smartwatches which would be powered by the latest software. However, while LG already launched the Watch Sport and Watch Style, Verizon’s Wear24 remained on the sidelines — until today.

Verizon has officially launched the Wear24 smartwatch, and features a traditional watch design with a round face. The new wearable features a 1.39-inch AMOLED display with 290 pixel count. The Wear24 also features a 450mAh battery, and is IP67 rated, meaning you can take this one swimming with you without worrying about anything going awry.

As for pricing, if contracts are your thing, you can get the Wear24 for $299.99 with a 2-year contract, or you can purchase the Wear24 outright for $349.99. This lines up with pricing for the LG Watch Sport, which is also available for $349.99.

Of course, the Wear24 does feature LTE bands, so that you can connect your phone number to the smartwatch and leave your phone at home while you go for a run. Finally, the Wear24 comes in 3 different colors: Silver, Black, and Rose Gold.

If you’re interested in snagging the Wear24 for yourself, you can hit the button below to head over to Verizon’s website and get one for yourself.
