It’s not often that we see Samsung’s low-tier devices available in the United States, but you can now buy the Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime from Amazon for $290. The Galaxy J7 Prime originally launched back in September for markets like India and China.
The device features a 5.5″ Full HD screen. It’s powered by a 1.6GHz octa-core Exynos 7870 processor and 3GB of RAM. 16GB of storage is included in the device, but that’s expandable up to 256GB thanks to the included microSD slot. If you’re curious about the cameras, you’ll find the J7 Prime features a 13MP shooter on the rear and an 8MP front-facing selfie-shooter. Finally, it’s powered by a 3,300mAh battery and runs Android 6.0.
The phone comes unlocked and features two SIM slots and it’s compatible with all GSM networks in the United States. For $290, you could do a lot worse than this phone if you’re looking to get a cheap phone that isn’t crappy.
