Xiaomi will be launching a new product globally at CES 2017

Xiaomi has been quite busy over the last few months with the release of the Mi Box, Mi Note 2, and Mi MIX. However, the company is looking to shake things up here in the states as it has announced plans to launch an “all-new product globally” at CES 2017.

We aren’t sure what Xiaomi has up its sleeves this time around, but some indications are that the company is looking to either the VR space or wearables. This event will mark the first time Xiaomi has provided a presentation at CES, so we’re sure it’s going to be a pretty big deal.

It’s unlikely that we’ll see a new smartphone due to the regulatory hurdles that need to be overcome in order to release a new product in the states. However, it’s still exciting considering how much Xiaomi has been releasing in the recent months.
