Get Double XP and Stardust in Pokemon GO during Thanksgiving event

Niantic has been hard at work on Pokemon Go since the game launched just a few short months ago and as a way to say thank you to all their loyal players, the developer has announced a double XP and Stardust event for Thanksgiving.

Starting on November 23rd 00:00 UTC (that’s 7pm EST/4pm PST) and lasting until November 30th 00:00 UTC, you’ll receive double the amount of XP and Stardust you would normally receive on all your in-game actions. That also means if you hit your daily bonuses every day during that week, you’ll get double the XP and Stardust for that as well.

If you’ve taken a break from Pokemon Go since the game first debuted back in July, there have been plenty of changes that warrant a new look at the game. You can now have a buddy Pokemon displayed in your profile with you, there’s a new tracking update that aims to take some of the confusion out of the Pokemon tracker, and new bonuses for performing every days tasks for netting even more XP.
