OnePlus has had a busy week with the release of the OnePlus 3T and discontinuation of the OnePlus 3. Now, the company has released the latest beta version of OxygenOS for the OnePlus 3.
Version 3.5.5 of OxygenOS is now available for download from the OnePlus Forums and weighs in at just 59MB. The update includes an all new audio tuner to allow users more control over the audio levels on their devices as well as updating to the November Android security patch.
What’s New:
- Added audio turner
- Added background app freezing mechanism
- Redesign of accent color
- Redesign of the clock UI
- Updated Google Security patch for October (November 1 instead of October)
- Fixed black screen issue when exiting games in horizontal orientation
- Fixed launcher related crashes
- Increased System stability
- General bug fixes
This seems to be a pretty substantial update for the OnePlus 3, even though it’s not the Android Nougat everyone is waiting for. That update is expected to be rolled out for both the OnePlus 3 and new OnePlus 3T before the end of the year.
