Google has added Belkin’s USB-C car charger to the Google Store, but you’ll be paying a premium for it. The charger was first announced a few months ago and is 27W, meaning it charges about 70% faster than other chargers. Because of that, the charger can be used to charge laptops like the Chromebook Pixel, Pixel C, or the new Macbook much faster than others.
The price you’ll be paying for that faster charging? $44.99. That’s hard to swallow for a car charger accessory, but you can save $5 on it if you decide to buy from Verizon instead of Google. Verizon has the same charger available online for $39.99.
