Apple’s wireless AirPods will work with Android devices

At an event earlier this week, Apple announced the iPhone 7, but the company had a lot to say about some of the accessories surrounding it, too. One of those accessories were the AirPods, a wireless version of their EarPods.

The AirPods fit into each ear independently and without a string, so they’re truly wireless. The $160 earbuds use Bluetooth, and guess what that means? You can use them with your Android phone, if you want.

Granted, you won’t be treated to the unique features it has when working with an iPhone such as one-click setup and Siri control, but they’ll let you listen to your tunes just fine. If you can forgive the price tag, its basic functionality when used with non-iOS devices, and a ridiculous pipe extending from each of your ears while you use it, then it’s yet another option to consider. Otherwise, there are a lot of other options out there that are not only cheaper, but also more useful for those using Android devices.
