Samsung kicked off pre-orders of the Gear Fit2 a week ago, but you can now purchase the activity tracker in the US, Canada, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, and Australia. The Gear Fit2 will be heading to dozens of other countries over the next month or two, but Samsung isn’t quite ready to announce any other markets at this time.
There are quite a few reasons to love the Samsung Gear Fit2, but we think that the fitness tracker’s $179 price point is what will make it extremely appealing to a lot of people. While there are a lot of fitness trackers that sell for less than $150, the Gear Fit2 has a 1.5-inch color display which shows SMS, call, email, app and calendar notification, 4GB of internal storage for your music, integrated GPS, barometer, accelerometer and heart rate monitor. That’s a lot more than what the Fitbit Surge and UA Band have to offer.
Are you planning on buying the Samsung Geat Fit2?
