The biggest announcement for Chrome OS since its inception was made at Google I/O 2016. The announcement was that the Google Play Store and its billions of apps would be coming to Chrome OS later this year. However, the session at I/O where this announcement was made, was not live-streamed to the rest of the world.

Luckily, Google being the good guys they are, have posted this recorded session on the Google Developers YouTube channel, along with many of the other sessions from I/O. If you want to learn more about how Android apps will work with Chrome OS, be sure to check out the video above.

Let us know in the comments whether this huge change to Chrome OS will influence you to purchase a Chromebook.
