Yesterday, OnePlus took to the interwebs and got 30,000 people signed up to get a free Loop Virtual Reality headset with promises to change the game yet again. As expected, this has gotten many people talking and interested in the OnePlus 3, and @evleaks was there to help everyone out with a set of some new specs for the device along with a screenshot.
The screenshot was from an unknown device that we assume to be the OnePlus 3 and included a very interesting piece of info; it was running a build of Android N. While Google has just released the 3rd Developer Preview for Android N, it’s cool to see them jumping on this version of Android from the start.

As for what the OnePlus is expected to have, @evleaks gave us some insight into that as well.
- Display: 5.5-inch 1080p
- Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 820
- Storage: 64GB
- Camera: 16MP rear-facing
- Connectivity: NFC
I’m sure there will be other options than just a 64GB variant, but it’s great to see that OnePlus listened to its users and added NFC. With this device running Android N, we may not see the OnePlus 3 until later this Summer, but we’ll have to keep our ears to the ground in regards to this device’s release.
