We’re only a few days away from the full reveal of the HTC 10. This Tuesday, April 12th, HTC will finally take the wraps off the phone they’ve been teasing so much on social media. In a new video posted on Twitter, the Taiwanese manufacturer is teasing the HTC 10’s battery life, a pain point for many consumers with older devices. In the video (embedded above), HTC says they’re so obsessed with battery life, they’ve turned it into a science.
Of course that sounds promising, but unless they throw us a major curve ball, rumors and leaks are pinning a 3,000mAh battery on the HTC 10 — a new number most Android OEMs are hitting these days in their flagships. In addition to the more power efficient Snapdragon 820, we’re sure they’ll have a few software tricks for further extending battery life, something that seemed to help Sony in stretching out mAhs on their devices the farthest they can go.
Of course, we can expect all secrets to be revealed during HTC’s big event on Tuesday. We have to admit, we’re a little hyped.
