The Best Android Phones rankings get a new addition towards the top

Our Best Android Phones rankings received a big shake-up before the Holidays. The Nexus 6P took over the top spot, and a bunch of new devices were added to the list. Right now we’re in the middle of the pre-Mobile World Congress dead period. However, one new device has crossed our desks in the last couple of weeks.

Last week, we posted our full review of the Huawei Mate 8. A lot of Android fans are in love with Huawei right now, but it’s for devices that run stock Android. The Nexus 6P has been universally praised as the “best Android phone ever made,” and the Huawei Mate 8 is actually better on paper. So does that make the Mate 8 the new #1? Not quite.
