In case you needed another reminder about Verizon being terribly slow with updates, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is finally getting Android 5.1.1. It has been a long wait for Note 4 users. Android 5.0 has been buggy and full of issues, but help is finally on the way.

Verizon has updated the Note 4 support page with software version LMY47X.N910VVRU2BOK3 based on Android 5.1.1. Included with the various bug fixes and stability improvements is Android for Work and Samsung Knox upgrades. The update will also remove the pre-installed Amazon Appstore and Amazon Widgets. Less bloatware is always a plus.

The OTA should be rolling out very soon. Let us know if you get the update on your Note 4!
