After Google made native cellular connectivity official for Android Wear late last night, we wanted to update you on Verizon and AT&T availability of the LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition LTE on their networks. AT&T will have the even smarter watch (it can actually make/receive calls) available tomorrow, November 13th for $300, while Verizon will offer it for $500 come November 19th. Yeah, pretty big price differences there.
LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition LTE specs
- 1.38-inch 480×480 resolution POLED display
- 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 processor
- 768MB RAM
- 570mAh battery
- IP67 dust/water resistance
- 44.5mm wide, 14.2mm thick
- LTE connectivity
To be clear, we knew about AT&T availability since the beginning of the month, so this was just more of a reminder. You can get the watch even cheaper if you’re willing to go in on a contract, bringing the price down to $200 on AT&T and $450 on Verizon. Again, huge difference in pricing and we still can’t figure out why. You can pick up the watch on its respective carrier via the links down below.
